A new date has been officially confirmed for the blockbuster boxing bout between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson.
The YouTuber-turned-pugilist and iconic former world heavyweight champion had been scheduled to collide in an eight-round sanctioned professional fight on July 20 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, with the contest to be streamed live on Netflix.
However, health fears surrounding Tyson, 57, were recently sparked when he suffered a medical scare on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles.
Such an incident was later revealed to be an ulcer flare-up, something which left him feeling nauseous and dizzy and then left him unable to train as the fight was eventually postponed.
“I want to thank my fans around the world for their support and understanding during this time. Unfortunately, due to my ulcer flare-up, I have been advised by my doctor to lighten my training for a few weeks to rest and recover,” Tyson said in a statement last month.
“My body is in better overall shape than it has been since the 1990s and I will be back to my full training schedule soon. Jake Paul, this may have bought you some time, but in the end you will still be knocked out and out of boxing for good.
“I appreciate everyone’s patience and can’t wait to deliver an unforgettable performance later this year.”

Paul said he supported the postponement, wanting Tyson to be at his best and have “no excuses” on fight night.
It has now been announced that the bout will be rescheduled for a Friday night on November 15, still to be held at the home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys and shown live on Netflix.
The card will also still include the co-main event, which sees Katie Taylor battle the Paul-promoted Amanda Serrano in a rematch of their April 2022 classic at Madison Square Garden.
"Although we had to postpone the fight, I will resume training shortly," said Tyson.
"I am thankful to the medical staff that treated me and to MVP, Netflix and AT&T Stadium for working diligently to find the best reschedule date for all parties.
"While we have a new date, the result will be the same no matter when we fight - Jake Paul is getting knocked out."
