Jake Paul's training camp has broken up for a few Christmas days off, but that didn't stop the YouTube star from continuing to train with an unorthodox method.
The unbeaten boxer and his team split up for a festive break before they return to camp next week for a February fight date, with Paul heading home to Cleveland to spend time with his family. However, he managed to still go viral with a video from his Christmas gathering, showing off his skills by punching a sex toy.
Paul shared a quick snippet of himself working on punching combinations by using a sex toy that was inexplicably at his family gathering as a punching bag, with the clip showing up all over social media on Christmas Day. The video was viewed almost 37million times on Twitter and a further 5million on Instagram.
In the footage, Paul is interrupted by a family member who is attempting to give him a gift, while he is focused on punching the bizarre toy. The social media star is no stranger to a viral video, having amassed over 65million followers during his career as an influencer before transitioning into professional boxing.
He is currently working towards a fight in February, with talks seemingly stalled over a massive pay-per-view bout with Love Island star Tommy Fury. Paul is desperate to face a legitimate boxer, and sees Fury, whose brother is world heavyweight champion Tyson, as just the guy given his social media fame and 8-0 boxing record.
According to Paul, there is currently a shortlist of three opponents who have had official fight offers sent to them, with Fury likely top of the list. He is believed to have been offered $2million for a bout believed to take place in the UK or the Middle East, but there have been no updates from either side for the past few weeks.

Paul was frustrated this year as he could only get out once for a career-best win over former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva. The Brazilian was a solid opponent, who for the first time offered a new challenge as a bigger, longer, southpaw fighter with a winning boxing record that included former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
However, after taking the early part of the year off to focus on promoting Amanda Serrano's undisputed lightweight title fight with Katie Taylor at Madison Square Garden, he wanted to return in August. He booked a fight with Fury, which was cancelled due to a visa issue, and replacement opponent Hasim Rahman Jr was also forced out due to a problem making weight.
He is planning to fight three times in the coming year, first to compete in February, with a bout mid-year likely either just before or after Serrano faces Taylor in a rematch. His long-time rival KSI has also claimed that the pair will finally settle their five-year-long feud with a fight at the end of 2023.
