Jake Paul has quickly dismissed Tommy Fury's latest demand to resurrect their seemingly-doomed fight.
Paul and Fury signed contracts to face each other last month at Madison Square Garden in a second attempt to settle their bitter grudge, but Fury was unable to participate in the event after being banned from the US. This was the second planned fight which was shelved after Fury was also forced to withdraw last December when he broke a rib.
The YouTube star attempted to replace Fury also failed with his fight against Hasim Rahman Jr but the fight was cancelled after a row over the weight limit. Paul plans to return to the ring in October and claims to have sent a contract to a professional boxer with a winning record.
Fury first issued a call-out for a new date earlier this month as he looked to move the fight to Canada and has tried to haved the fight rescheduled again in his latest call on an Instagram video, in which he says: "Somebody can't keep my name out of his mouth. I am in his Instagram bio he is doing tweets about me, and he has even put Amanda Serrano on the bill in Manchester next month knowing full well I will be there.
"I see that he has put out that he is fighting at 185lb in October at 185lb. I have already been training, I am ready for October and 185lb is my fighting weight. If you want this dust settled once and for all get yourself over here and we will get it on. There is no excuses here no-one is afraid to fight you. Get in touch you pick the date and venue I am not bothered let's just get this on."
Paul has issued a short and sharp response, which has since been deleted, tweeting the words "Groundhog Day" in response to his new call-out. The latest response is a reference to the film in which the same events keep repeating themselves in a loop until the self-centred weatherman played by Bill Murray can get it right and escape his ways.

Paul has demanded a significant increase on his fight purse if he is to take on Fury in the UK which would likely delay any fight for a significant time. The YouTube star is exploring a whole host of other options including a crossover bout with Nate Diaz and an exhibition fight with Mike Tyson.
But Fury would be willing to stage the event in Canada providing a fight agreement is reached again. "It's one of them where for both of us now, it's too far gone for it not to happen," he said. "In this game you need a good dance partner and I can't say it any fairer than this, I will fight you in any single place in this world. You don't have to come to England, I'll fight you in Canada next to America, I'm not bothered."
