Jake Paul has given his take on Jack Catterall vs Josh Taylor after Saturday's controversial fight - with Paul suggesting a rule change for boxing to consider.
It had almost seemed unanimous to everyone who has watched Catterall get the better of Taylor throughout the majority of the fight, that the Chorley boxer would be handed the victory.
Catterall was able land more strikes and significant strikes, whilst also having a much better percentage of his jabs landed. He controlled the fight for the majority, and the result seemed to be assured when Taylor was docked a point.
However, fighting in front of Taylor's home crowd, he was awarded the victory - leaving boxing fans across the globe in disgust.
Speaking on the broadcast, Sky Sports' Johnny Nelson was one of many who did not hold back, stating that these sort of results had been reasons why people are turned off from the sport.
And YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul has presented a new way for fights to be scored. He tweeted: "I think there should be 6 boxing judges for title fights 3 pairs of 2.
"Each pair has to agree on the same score at the end of the round & if they don’t they briefly debate their reasoning. Almost like a jury system. These poor decisions change the shape of the sport forever."
He added: "Or something like this idea. This is just a quick little brainstorm."
The mandatory challenger, Catterall, posted an emotional message to Instagram, explaining that he fought for his family and home town, before saying 'shame on you' to the judges.
It has now been confirmed that the fight will indeed be looked in to, as The British Boxing Board of Control will launch the investigation.
Paul himself will look to make a return to boxing later this year, currently taking time away from the sport after four fights in 13 months. He had been down to fight Tommy Fury last year but the former Love Island star had to pull out through injury.
Paul is currently concentrating on promoting the Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano fight, which is scheduled to be held on April 30 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
