Jake Paul has offered NBA star Draymond Green an opportunity to step into the boxing ring for a fight that he claims could be worth £9million.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer promotes his own events and has already managed to get social media star Dr Mike Varshavski, football stars Frank Gore and Le'Veon Bell as well as basketball player Deron Williams into the ring. And after footage emerged of Green appearing to punch and drop teammate Jordan Poole during a training session, Paul has offered a fight of his choice.
Green has since apologised for the incident, and likely wouldn't want to make the move into the ring amid a very successful career that includes five NBA titles. He could be set to receive further punishment from the NBA after the leaked footage showed the five-time NBA champion is seen walking away from Poole but exchanging words with him, before a physical altercation.
Paul sent out a series of tweets following video of the bust-up being made public by TMZ. His initial message simply read "Gotta get Draymond Green in the boxing ring," before he asked fans "Draymond Green vs Deron Williams. Who wins?" He then upped the stakes by making his offer official and tagging Green.
"Draymond I got $10million (£9m) for you to get in the ring on the next Most Valuable Promotions pay per view," Paul wrote. "Who you want?" He then clarified that it was Jordan Poole, and not himself; a fellow 'JP' who had been punched in the video. "To be clear the JP that Draymond slept is Jordan Poole," he added. "This JP would sleep Draymond in 1 round."
In the leaked video, Green can be seen walking over to Poole, who is stood underneath the basket off the court in their training room, before going face-to-face with him. It appears that the pair are exchanging words, before things get physical when Poole pushes Green around the upper chest or neck area.

He then launches himself at his younger team-mate with a big punch which seems to land accurately on Poole's chin. Poole falls to the floor immediately, with Green appearing to grab him while team-mates and coaches ran over to split the pair up. Members of the Warriors coaching and playing staff attempted to play down the situation prior to the video's release.
Paul promoted Williams' debut against Frank Gore last year, with the basketball star winning a split decision in their heavyweight exhibition. However, getting someone like Green into the ring would be a considerably bigger coup given his relevance in the league to this day.
Just yesterday he confirmed that Bell, a former star running back in the NFL, had signed to face former UFC star Uriah Hall on the undercard of his upcoming bout with Anderson Silva. The event takes place on October 29 at the Gila River Arena in Phoenix, Arizona and will see the YouTuber take on his toughest career test.
