Tyson Fury couldn't help but laugh at Jake Paul's comments about his family disowning brother Tommy if he loses in their grudge fight next month.
Paul and Fury will finally settle their bitter feud on February 26 as the rivals meet over eight rounds in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The rivals were first scheduled to fight in December 2021 but Fury pulled out of the fight due to a chest infection and broken rib. A second meeting was booked between them last August, but US visa issues prevented Fury from travelling and he withdrew again.
Both men were in attendance for Artur Beterbiev vs Anthony Yarde in London on Saturday night and they had to be separated whilst facing off in the ring to promote their fight. When asked by presenter Josh Denzel about what fighter has more to lose, Paul said: "Tommy has so much to lose, his family is going to disown him when I knock him the f*** out. Sorry Tyson, I love you but it's over for your brother."
The camera then cut to heavyweight champion Tyson who was seen at ringside laughing after Paul made the comment. 'The Gypsy King' had threatened to disown his brother if he loses to Paul, telling talkSPORT: They are finally getting it on and are going to throw down. The two YouTube people get to battle it out for the king of the YouTubers. It’s going to be fun, and I expect Tommy to chin him. If he doesn’t he can stay in Saudi Arabia.”
With two previous meetings between them falling apart, Paul is taking no chances and has already organised a back-up fighter in the form of Mike Perry. The ex-UFC star fought 15 times in the promotion but parted ways with the MMA powerhouse in 2021 after a string of recent losses. Perry, who recently claimed he signed a contract to fight Paul, has since crossed over to bare-knuckle boxing where he is unbeaten in two professional fights.

'The Problem Child' has remained critical of Fury's past opponents and insists his rival won't be able to handle the pressure of their highly-anticipated grudge fight. "He's fought taxi drivers, he has no chin, it's all a joke. I'm ending you February 26th and you already know it. You're going to crack under this moment, you're not built for this moment," Paul said.
Fury insisted that Paul's career will be over after their fight by replying to his rival: "I was beating better people than you when I was 14 in the amateurs., whilst you were messing around on Disney channel so don't come here pretending you're about it when you're not. I am not an MMA fighter, I will school you."
