Jake Paul details how he feels Dana White attempted to derail his major fights

Jake Paul claims that UFC boss Dana White has used methods such as cease and desist letters to try and mess up his big fights.

YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul, 25, has been involved in a bitter feud with White since ditching his internet fame for a career in the ring. Paul has criticised the terms of UFC contracts whilst demanding fighters in the promotion are guaranteed improved conditions, such as more money and an increased revenue split.

White has mocked the level of competition Paul has faced during his short-lived boxing career but was forced to eat his words in October as the American beat one of the greatest UFC fighters of all time in Anderson Silva. That fight was in jeopardy after a story about Silva allegedly being knocked out twice during his training camp surfaced during fight week, something Paul has accused White of telling the Arizona State Athletic Commission about.

"It's nothing really personal with Dana, I just don't like how he treats his fights. He's done vindictive things to try and f*** up my fights, he was basically sending cease and desist letters to my team about content that I had posted with him in it, threatening to sue me unless I took the content down promoting my fight," Paul told Anthony Pompliano.

"We think he was the one to send the video to the commission of Anderson saying he got knocked out in sparring. That really f***ed up the pay-per-view and the ticket sales, we saw all the pre-buy numbers tank the week of the fight because everybody thought it was off. The commission freaked out and everyone thought the fight was going to be cancelled."

Paul has been fairly quiet in his feud with White in recent months, but he did release a 'diss track' aimed at the UFC president at the beginning of this year. Following his win against Silva in October, Paul claimed that White hates the fact he is "exposing his business" and told the head honcho to "suck this d***". Despite his disdain for the UFC boss, Paul admitted that White is a "really smart guy" and respects what's he done for MMA.

"I think he's a really smart guy, I have respect for what he did for the sport of MMA. People think I don't like the UFC, I love the UFC and I grew up watching the UFC. I think it's a great organisation, they put on awesome fights and half of the UFC fighters are my friends, but they need to pay their fighters more," Paul added.

Mirror Fighting has contacted Dana White for comment.
