Jake Paul compares Tommy Fury to dad John by posting brutal KO video

Jake Paul has compared Tommy Fury to his dad John after posting a video of the 57-year-old being knocked out from his boxing days.

John is a former professional boxer and also claims to have competed in a host of bare-knuckle bouts. He retired from boxing with a record of 8-4-1, hanging up his gloves for good after brutal knockout losses to Henry Akinwande and Steve Garber.

Paul mocked John for his knockout loss to Garber by posting the video on Twitter. In the clip, John takes two hard right hands from Garber and is knocked out. Narrating over the video, Paul said: "Watch, this is how Tommy Fury fights, this is his dad right here. A lot of people don't know his dad is a s*** fighter watch. Boom, boom, 'ohh, where am I?'".

Unlike his father, Tommy has never been knocked out in his professional career and is unbeaten in eight fights. He went six rounds against Daniel Bocianski on the undercard of his brother Tyson's heavyweight world title fight against Dillian Whyte last weekend.

Tommy was due to fight Paul last December, but he pulled out of the fight after breaking two ribs and suffering a bacterial infection. He later admitted to mental health struggles and being in a " dark place " as a result of withdrawing from the multi-million-pound clash.

Paul slammed Tommy's performance last weekend and labelled him as "delusional" for thinking he could beat him. "No one can beat me, so how is this 22-year-old delusional kid who thinks he's his brother... he has the ego of his brother and has the bravado of his brother, but he fights like s***, like his dad," Paul told Seconds Out.

"His dad was a s****y fighter, not that many people know but you can go type in John Fury getting knocked out multiple times, it's all over YouTube."

Tommy is still pushing hard for a fight with Paul after their December meeting fell through. The Brit thinks his opponent last weekend - who had a 10-1 record - would have "killed" Paul if they fought. "Jake Paul - this should have been done a long time ago in December and if you want it I'm here and I'm ready for you," he said.

"I'll cut you and chop you to bits just like I did there, get the contract signed you bum, let's get it done once and for all. That lad in there would have killed Jake Paul."
