Jake Paul has claimed Katie Taylor is "scared" after she mocked him for suggesting a change in weight for her rematch with Amanda Serrano.
Paul has insisted he has $2million available for Taylor if she were willing to come down nine pounds from their first meeting to featherweight, where Serrano is the unified champion. Paul is the American's promoter and masterminded, alongside Eddie Hearn, a huge clash between Taylor and Serrano for the undisputed lightweight world title in April, which Taylor won.
And despite initially seeming cordial during the build-up to the fight, the relationships between Paul and both Taylor and Hearn have soured. Paul is one of the sport's most notorious and controversial figures, and has even managed to draw the famously soft-spoken Irishwoman into a war of words in recent weeks.
