Jaipur: Covid admissions dip 43% in last 10 days, active cases plunge too

JAIPUR: Covid admissions in city hospitals have reduced by 43% in the last 10 days. Only 260 patients are currently in the city's hospitals compared to 459 on January 29. Health department officials agreed that due to the decrease in daily infections and active cases, hospitalisations have taken a dip.

However, the concern is that more patients are in ICUs than in general wards. The occupancy of general beds is 101 while 122 patients are in ICUs. Besides 37 persons are on oxygen support compared to 64 on January 29.
