Jailed mob boss Thomas “Bomber” Kavanagh has become the focus of a major Garda investigation.
Gardai are probing Bomber’s suspected role as the alleged criminal mastermind behind an arsenal of guns that were discovered in a West Dublin warehouse in 2017 - that saw associate Declan Brady jailed last year.
It had been thought that the Garda probe into the discovery of the 15 firearms and 4,000 rounds of ammunition ended with the conviction of Brady, who was considered to be a high-level member of the Kinahan cartel.
