A man has been jailed for a "vile and protracted" home invasion in which a woman pretended to be dead in a bid to end the ordeal.

Abdul Jalil Mohamed Abdel Sadek, 21, was sentenced in Brisbane District Court on Thursday after the attack in the early hours of May 7, 2023 in Margate, north of Brisbane.
