Jadon Sancho has revealed Erik ten Hag has Manchester United's forwards doing press-ups when they concede goals to defenders in a certain type of training game.
United are back in action away at Brentford on Saturday following defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion in their opening fixture of the season. The Reds will no doubt have been working hard in training to right the wrongs of the last week.
According to Sancho, Ten Hag is quick to show that failure is not an option. Speaking to Premier League Productions the Englishman explained: "He is definitely intense, as you can see in the pre-season.

"Let's say we do attack vs defence and the defence score, the attackers have to do five press ups. He is assuring us that some things are not allowed - especially in transition play. We are all taking that in and we are taking it in well."
On Ten Hag's attention to detail, Sancho added: "That's just how he operates. He's brought what he was doing at Ajax here, and he's the manager so we have to respect what he wants. One of his big things when he was coming in was team bonding. I think everyone is working well together. The chemistry within the team is very important, everyone has to be happy within themselves and interact with each other, especially on and off the pitch. It plays a key part, that will take time and hopefully it will come good."
