Jadon Sancho responds to Erik ten Hag giving him the hairdryer treatment at Man Utd

New Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag was spotted shouting at Jadon Sancho in a training session ahead of the Red Devils' friendly with Liverpool on Tuesday.

And the England international forward responded to the hair dryer treatment in the best possible way by netting the opener for his side in Bangkok.

Sancho was signed by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for Manchester United but only showed glimpses of quality under the Norwegian and Ralf Rangnick. He has been backed to turn into the £73million player the Red Devils signed from Dortmund this season, and was given an immediate opportunity to impress in Tuesday's clash.

Former Red Devils defender Wes Brown is a fan of Sancho's and recently said of him: "I can see Jadon Sancho pushing on under Ten Hag. It's football, you know what you have to do, it's just whether you have the confidence to do it.

"During the second half of the season, when Sancho was taking on players, sometimes two, three, four defenders, he had very close control and was getting in their face. I noticed once he started doing that, I could see the panic in the opposition.

"He's the sort of person that can bring defenders out to him to create space somewhere else. The top teams have that type of player, so I think he could be key for next season."

Man United currently lead Liverpool by three goals to nil, with Fred and Anthony Martial also getting in on the scoring, in a brilliant first half for Ten Hag's men.
