Jada Pinkett Smith has been very open about her struggle with alopecia.
The actress wife of Will Smith shaved her head as she embraced the hair loss condition, and wasn't happy when her look was made the butt of a joke by comedian Chris Rock.
Chris ended up being slapped across the face by Will after trying to wise-crack about Jada at the Oscars last night.
He had told her he was looking forward to seeing her in the GI Jane sequel - referencing how Demi Moore famously shaved her head for the role.
The Hollywood couple appeared to laugh it off at first, but Jada's face soon dropped and she looked to be upset about the comments.
It was in that moment that Will stormed the stage and slapped Chris across the face.
After returning to his seat, Will told Chris: "Keep my wife's name out your f***ing mouth."
The moment left everyone in the room - and watching at home - in shock, but it's no wonder that Jada didn't appreciate jokes being made about her condition.
Jada was first diagnosed with the autoimmune disease in 2018 and has opened up about her decision to shave her hair off.
She said on her Facebook show Red Table Talk: "For me, it was a mixture of a spiritual calling and also going, 'At some point, your hairline is going to be back here...so we might as well just do it now'."
The stunning actress looked so good with her head shaved that she inspired her daughter Willow and mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris to rock the look too.
And her fans praised her as she first showed off her new look.
Saying Willow "made her do it", she posed up alongside her daughter as they both proudly showed off their new looks.
Jada wrote alongside the image: "Willow made me do it because it was time to let go BUT … my 50’s are bout to be Divinely lit with this shed."
And Willow shared the same snap, writing: "A gift is pure when it is given from the heart to the right person at the right time and at the right place, and when we expect nothing in return."
Both women were showered with compliments from fans left bowled over by their stunning transformations.
One told Jada: "Beautiful. It Just shows that beautiful face and soulful eyes more prominently."
While another commented: "Absolutely stunning. I’ve been thinking about doing this for so many years… might have to jump on it too!"
"The sacred feminine in you is absolutely beautiful. She is expressing herself to the sacred utmost. You are divine," one wrote.
