Jacob Slade is a name that isn’t always in the spotlight for the Michigan State football team, but he is someone who has been making a strong impact on the Spartans defense somewhat silently. Slade came to the MSU program as a part of the 2018 recruiting class and has recorded 66 tackles and 3.5 sacks in his time wearing the green and white.
Slade, primarily known as a run-stuffer, was given high praise by Pro Football Focus, as he was listed as the second-best ranked interior defensive lineman in the Big Ten since 2019.
