Steve-O has regularly left viewers shocked, appalled and entertained with his wild life in the spotlight, as captured in his various Jackass movies over the years.
However, the comedy star, whose real name is Stephen Gilchrist Glover, once admitted himself that he crossed a line as he reflected on the story behind his questionable baby tattoo.
Giving his fans further insight into his world, the 49-year-old spoke candidly in a YouTube video about his tattoo collection, particularly addressing one inking that was the most shocking compared to the rest.
"It was 2006, and I was getting drunk with my buddies, and we're talking about how we never wanted to have kids - or at least I felt really strongly about it," he began in the video.
He continued: "So I said OK, I'll get a tattoo of a baby in a circle with a slash like a 'No Babies' sign."
Steve explained that he thought the idea was "kinda funny", but as he kept drinking, he decided to change it to "F*** Babies".
He quickly decided against it as he already had too many tattoos with words, so then he "ended up going with an image of a guy f***ing a baby".
Steve said: "When I got that tattoo, I knew that I was crossing the line, and that was the whole reason that I got it. This was my crazy stunt that I was doing.
"But, as soon as I stepped foot outside of that tattoo parlour, this couple was walking down, and they were excited to see me, and I'm going to show them - 'check out my new tattoo'.
"And they saw it, and the look of f***ing horror on their face told me that I had actually made a serious mistake."
The thrill-seeker said he covered the tattoo by tying a bandanna around it and drilled over it, which turned it into a black blob.
Later, he showed the tattoo to his co-star Bam Margera, who encouraged him to turn the blob into an ostrich, which tattoo artist Kat Von D did for him.
However, that didn't completely solve the problem, as Steve-O was later involved in an accident following a stunt, which burned off half the tattoo and left him needing skin grafts on 15% of his body.
He decided the lost half of the inking was better off being turned into a motorbike, so now he has a bizarre tattoo of a man riding a bike with an ostrich.
