Jack Shepherd sent back to jail after barbecue tong attack on his girlfriend

• Jack Shepherd has been sentenced to 20 months in prison with a four-year extended licence period for violently attacking his partner.
• Isleworth Crown Court heard Shepherd punched his girlfriend and stabbed her with pointed barbecue tongs during an argument.
• The 39-year-old previously pleaded guilty to two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and one count of criminal damage.
• The attacks, which occurred in February and June last year, triggered Shepherd's recall to custody.
• Shepherd was previously jailed for manslaughter in 2018 after Charlotte Brown died in a speedboat crash on their first date.
