Jack Hendry could be on the move to the English Championship as Burnley boss Vincent Kompany eyes a move for the former Celtic defender.
It's been a good couple of seasons for the Scotland international after an initial season-long loan move to Belgian First Division side Oostende won a move to the nation's heavyweights Club Brugge. The English Championship club have 'made a bid' for Hendry 12 months after leaving Celtic, according to the Daily Mail.
Brendan Rodgers brought the centre-back in from Dundee in 2018 but regular chances were limited and he left permanently last year for Oostende, although the 27-year-old left just two months later for the eventual league champions. Hendry has established himself in Scotland head coach Steve Clarke's plans after experiencing Champions League football last season, playing a starring role in their now famous 1-1 draw with French giants PSG.

Burnley have big plans for this season. They suffered relegation back to England's second tier in the Spring and are keen on a return to the Premier League instantly.
Manchester City legend Kompany has arrived in the dugout after time as Anderlecht manager and it's there he likely became aware of Hendry's ability.
Back at Parkhead, it's been a busy summer of comings and goings ahead of Champions League group stage football and flag day versus Aberdeen on Sunday.
