Jack Grealish meets Salt Bae as England stars have day off at World Cup

England star Jack Grealish enjoyed a day off at the World Cup by visiting a luxury restaurant known for its pricey gold-leaf Tomahawk steaks.

Turkish influencer Salt Bae posted a picture of him touching fists with winger Grealish, 27, at Nus-Et Steakhouse Doha with the words “Good luck brother.”

It came as Gareth Southgate gave his men time away from camp after beating Wales confirmed their qualification for the last 16 as group winners.

Conor Coady, 29, spent the afternoon with wife Amie and their two sons, who had a blast jumping in an out of a swimming pool.

Trent Alexander-Arnold, 25, and 19-year-old Jude Bellingham posed for a snap during a stroll around the upmarket Corniche district.

Earlier Mason Mount, 23, filmed Grealish in hysterics when a bird pooed on team-mate Luke Shaw’s shoulder.

Bae, 39, has hosted the stars of Spain, Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, Piers Morgan and Fifa boss Gianni Infantino in recent days.

Last month, the eatery owner was criticised for bragging about a £140,000 bill racked up by a table of 14 in Abu Dhabi.

Bae, whose real name is Nusret Gökçe, opened his first restaurant in Turkey in 2010 and has one in Knightsbridge.

He has become a viral star with his eccentric salt-sprinkling poses and amassed an estimated £44million fortune.

England will face Senegal for the first time in the last 16 of the tournament on Sunday at 7pm.

Senegal progressed from the group stage for only the second time after a 2-1 win over Ecuador earlier on Tuesday, to finish second behind Netherlands in Group A.
