Jack Grealish has hit back at critics who claim Manchester City will fluff their lines under pressure from Liverpool in the Premier League title race.
Pep Guardiola's side suffered agony in the Champions League semi-final on Wednesday evening, when Real Madrid came back from two goals down at the death to force the game into extra time before going through 6-5 on aggregate. The cruel exit was a body blow for City but Liverpool, who will now face Madrid in the final, could only manage a draw against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
The result means that the Sky Blues can move three points clear at the top of the table, should they beat Newcastle United at the Etihad today and £100million summer transfer Grealish insists that City are more than capable of handling the pressure.
