Jack Grealish has responded to comments from England manager Gareth Southgate, who suggested he was 'anxious' in his first season at Manchester City so may now be more relaxed having secured the Premier League title.
Grealish has been closely scrutinised this season following his £100m move from Aston Villa last year, and has struggled to replicate his good form in front of goal from his time at Villa Park. Both Pep Guardiola and Southgate have been pleased with his performances, though, with England boss Southgate predicting that he will be able to kick on in his second season at City.
However, Grealish had a slightly different view on things, insisting that while he was 'desperate' to win silverware, it wasn't the only factor in his form.
