Cooper Kupp doesn’t always get recognition from those talking about the elite wide receivers in the NFL, but players around the league know how talented he is. In a sit-down interview with Sports Illustrated, Ja’Marr Chase mentioned the All-Pro wideout for the Los Angeles Rams in his Mt. Rushmore of all-time wide receivers.
Chase began by naming Calvin Johnson and Antonio Brown as the first two wideouts that are among his top four. The star receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals would then utter Kupp’s name before wrapping up his top four with Hall of Famer Jerry Rice.

When mentioning Kupp, Chase did seem to hint at including the veteran pass catcher thanks to his triple-crown season in 2021. Amid a Super Bowl run, Kupp led all wideouts in receptions (145), receiving yards (1,947), and receiving touchdowns (16) in 2021.
The former third-round pick would win the NFL’s Offensive Player of the Year award in 2021 as a result of his performance in the regular season. He would then proceed to win Super Bowl MVP as the Rams defeated Chase’s Bengals, with Kupp posting eight receptions for 92 yards and two scores.
Even though some may not consider Kupp an all-time talent, Chase listed him alongside two Hall of Famers in Johnson and Rice, which goes to show just how much respect Kupp has earned from his peers.
