J.K. Dobbins to miss remainder of 2023 season after MRI confirms torn Achilles

After initial reports suggested J.K. Dobbins had suffered an Achilles injury, Adam Schefter reports that a Monday morning MRI confirmed that news.

Dobbins had eight carries for 22 yards and a touchdown in the first half of the Ravens opener against the Texans, but his season is now over.

An MRI today confirmed that Ravens’ RB J.K. Dobbins tore his Achilles, just as the team believed he did, per source.

Dobbins missed the 2021 season with a torn ACL and was limited to eight games last season with various injuries.

Baltimore will turn to Justice Hill and Gus Edwards and could look to sign Melvin Gordon to the 53-man roster with Keaton Mitchell on IR.
