JAMMU: Taking strong exception to the incidents of fake registrations of Amarnath Yatris by some cheats, J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) has said that the government and the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) should have adopted a fool proof system to save the innocent people from such cheats/fraudsters.
Reacting to report's of large number of Amarnath Yatris having been cheated by the fraudsters in the process of registration, the Congress has asked the government to identify such culprits & recover the mis- appropriated amount, besides instant registration for such victims/Yatris, so that they can proceed further for Yatra.
JKPCC chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma, Ex -MLC has expressed concern over such criminal mischief and serious offence by some gang of cheaters, whereby a sizeable number of pilgrims appear to have been looted by the gang.
