J&K: Army foils exfiltration bid in Uri, apprehends three persons during operation near LoC

Srinagar: The Army foiled an alleged exfiltration bid by apprehending three persons in Jammu and Kashmir's Uri sector, while in a separate incident, troops detained an man from PoK after he crossed the LoC, officials said on Sunday.

The Srinagar-based Chinar Corps said a joint operation by the Army and police was launched in the Uri area of Baramullah district based on intelligence inputs on Saturday.
