Patriots cornerback J. C. Jackson is in his first Pro Bowl. After a season in which he recorded eight interceptions in 17 games, Jackson now gets to rub shoulders with the NFL’s elite.
As he goes through the experience of the Pro Bowl festivities, Jackson is soaking everything in. The corner was wearing a microphone for the entire day Thursday, as he took part in his first Pro Bowl practice.
In one particular exchange, he was talking to teammate Matthew Slater. Along with Jackson, Slater and linebacker Matthew Judon were selected to the Pro Bowl. Mac Jones was also invited to the game as an alternate.
“Crazy doing this,” Jackson told Slater. “It’s a blessing, bro. Still got it, man. Still making Pro Bowls. I’m happy to see you out here, man.”
“I appreciate it,” Slater replied. “I’m glad you’re out here, too.”

For Slater, this was his 10th Pro Bowl selection.
As Jackson enjoys his first trip, there is a good chance he may be a Pro Bowl regular in the coming years.
