Gogglebox star Izzi Warner has celebrated the return of her sister Ellie to the hit Channel 4 show, following a hiatus due to boyfriend Nat Eddleston's serious injuries.
The star had been absent from the programme since March when Nat was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after being involved in a horrific collision whilst on a night out in Leeds.
Ellie made the decision to take time away from the show to be at the bedside of her partner, who suffered a broken neck, a broken back and two collapsed lungs, and was admitted to intensive care following the horrific incident.
However, Ellie finally returned to screens during Friday night's episode as she joined her sister, Izzi, back on their sofa to review the week in TV.
Izzi took to her Instagram account on Friday night to share an image of her and Ellie with the BAFTA award the show won on Sunday for Best Reality and Constructed Factual.
She captioned it with: "When the BAFTA came to Leeds. Well done team Gogglebox!"
Fans rushed to 'like' the image and left comments wishing Ellie and Nat well.
One user wrote: "Great to see you both back and lovely to hear from Nat! Hope he goes from strength to strength and congratulations on the BAFTA."
Another replied: "So lovely to see you both smiling on our screens again."
A third added: "Lovely to see you back on Gogglebox Ellie. Hope your Nat is getting better."
Earlier in the day Izzi had also posted a separate image of the pair to her story, simply captioning it: "See you all at 9. Thank you for the love and support."
It is believed bosses have been paying Ellie her full fee for the show, despite her missing some episodes in a showing of support.
"Bosses paid Ellie her full fee for the show - they didn't want her or Izzi worrying about money," an insider said. "Of course they've honoured the payments - they take duty of care very seriously on the show."
The sisters have been fan favourites with Channel 4 viewers since they first appeared on Googlebox back in 2015.
