New Rangers goalkeeper Ivor Pandur has sent a message to his new supporters, following the confirmation of his move from Hull City.

The Croatia international has joined the Ibrox club on a four-year deal, subject to international clearance.

As part of the deal, Jack Butland is expected to go the other way, as the former England international returns to the country of his birth.

Shortly after Rangers' announcement, the 26-year-old sent a message from Croatia's training camp, expressing his delight over the move to Scotland. In full, he said, "Hi guys, Ivor Pandur here. I am really excited and proud to join this unbelievable club, and I can't wait to get started.

"See you soon - I'll see you all after the World Cup."

Reacting to Rangers' fourth signing of the summer transfer window, manager Derek McInnes said, "We are delighted to bring Ivor to Rangers. He is a goalkeeper with excellent presence and a strong character.

“He has shown his quality, he is at a good stage of his career, and we believe he can be a commanding figure for the club. I am looking forward to welcoming Ivor into the team when he returns from the World Cup.”
