I've been using this $300 DJI setup to shoot all my iPhone videos for a month — and it fixes the two biggest giveaways of amateur filming

This has to be the fastest filmmaking hack I've ever found. And all it took was a relatively cheap gimbal, a wireless mic, and an iPhone. Seriously. No editing tricks, no ultra-expensive gear. I've managed to create a kit that targets the two biggest giveaways of amateur filming: shaky cams and poor audio.

So, for one month and counting, I've been filming everything from product close-ups to run-and-gun vlogs on my iPhone 17 Pro Max. I paired with the DJI Osmo Mobile 8 gimbal and the DJI Mic Mini.
