Those looking to sink their teeth into a new drama are in luck as ITV's new streaming service ITVX has dropped a new series on the platform. Called The Reunion and starring Welsh actor Ioan Gruffudd, the new drama is adapted from Guillaume Musso's bestselling novel of the same name aka La Jeune Fille et la Nuit.
Since its launch in early December, the broadcaster's brand-new streaming service has released one flagship show a week. So far these have included A Spy Among Friends, David Tennant's Litvinenko, the family drama Riches, and Vicky McClure's Without Sin.
The Reunion, based on the French best-seller, premiered on ITVX on Thursday, January 12. A synopsis for the series reads: "The Reunion tells the story of Vinca Rockwell who went missing one freezing night as her campus was paralyzed by a snowstorm. Several years later, three former friends bound by a tragic secret and the disappearance of their friend reconnect and try to find the truth about what happened the night Vinca went missing."
