Tipping Point offered their condolences to a player's family tonight.
Today's episode of the ITV quiz show saw host Ben Shephard welcome three new players to the game. Mark, Cath and Afqad all hoped to win a cash prize.
It was revealed on the programme's Facebook page, when the recording aired, that unfortunately retired bus driver Cath had died since filming. The show extended their sympathies to Cath's family.

In the post, they shared a picture of Cath posing with her teammates and Ben. They wrote: "After the recording of today's programme, we spoke with Cath’s family who shared the sad news of Cath's passing. Everyone at Tipping Point would like to extend their sincerest sympathies."
Ben Shephard also added his own post on Twitter, sharing the same image. He wrote: "Today’s Tipping Point is a poignant one… since recording the show, lovely contestant Cath, pictured backstage here, has passed away. Our thoughts and love are with her family and friends x"
Fans on Twitter added their own condolences for the contestant. Jean said: "Have just read that today’s contestant Cath has died. Sad news. #tippingpoint."
Donna said: "So sad….apparently poor Cath died just after this show was recorded. RIP Cath #tippingpoint." Meanwhile, Steve said: "Before we continue, I’d like to inform you that Cath is sadly no longer with us. She shall be missed. Our thoughts are with her family and friends."
