This Morning viewers wondered what they were watching as they tuned into the first show of the week. Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were back at the helm of the ITV daytime show on Monday (November 14) and they kicked off the week - quite literally - in a rather unusual way.
The pair were joined on the programme by c elebrity foot reader Jane Sheehan who thinks you can learn a lot about a person from the state of their feet by looking at the lines, cracks and blemishes people bare on their feet. After chatting about her job, she then got stuck into reading the feet of some This Morning stars.
But Jane wasn't able to see who they were as they were hidden behind a screen with their feet visible through a window. During one of the readings, Jane said a the persons 'very strong tendon' was a sign of self-discipline, while the elongated second toe on their right foot showed 'leadership qualities'.

She then added: "The tip of the big toe is lifted which means he is highly visual – he likes to picture it in his head before he comes to do it." The feet belonged to Gyles Brandreth who had been on the show earlier to chat through the latest news headlines on This Morning's View. And he was clearly impressed as he asked Jane for her number so that she could tell him more.
However, viewers weren't so thrilled by seeing Gyles' tootsies on their screen, followed by the show's chef Clodagh McKenna, who giggled when the guest compared her to a "Duracell bunny".
@mikepriestley13 tweeted: "This is a weird episode of naked attraction.. 'this is the feet for the people who have a fetish for feet' #ThisMorning." @Taggy86 said: "I didn't think I had issues with feet but I'm gonna have to change the channel #ThisMorning." @SenorApple2014 shared: "Sorry, I just cleaned my guts out. I’ve seen enough of other people’s feet for a lifetime. #ThisMorning."
@MissLionHeart posted: "If you're gonna display your feet on national TV, the minimum I expect you to do is have them scrubbed and polished 24 hours previously. Or go to a beauty shop and have a professional do it for you! #ThisMorning." @lulusnote typed: "Gross. Feet in general are gross #ThisMorning." @DavidMackayy added: "Just been told there’s feet on #thismorning, thank the heavens I’m at work."
And Gyles admitted that he didn’t even tell his wife he was taking part in the experiment because he knew she’d have tried to got him to back out. "I must say, I didn’t tell my wife I was doing this, because she’d have said, 'Please scrub your toes!' I’ve never had a pedicure."
