ITV This Morning viewers spot 'annoyed' Holly Willoughby after Phillip Schofield's 'queue' remark

This Morning viewers reckon Holly Willoughby was unimpressed with Phillip Schofield after he made an accidental 'queue' remark. The pair were back at the helm of the ITV daytime show on Thursday (January 26) as they hosted the programme for the last time this week.

During the latest installment, Holly and Phillip, who host the show from Monday to Thursday before Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary take over on a Friday, were joined by actors Rupert Grint and Ben Aldridge who were live in the studio to talk about their new thriller, Knock At The Cabin.

The new mystery-horror sees former Harry Potter star Rupert take on the role of Redmond while Ben, who is known for roles in s Pennyworth, Fleabag and Our Girl, takes on the role of Andrew in the film, which sees a girl and her parents taken hostage by armed strangers while on vacation.

However, before the end of the interview, Phillip admitted there was 'no way' he was going to ask Rupert about Harry Potter, in which he played Ron Weasley, but changed his mind. "I'm only mentioning it because I read something you said..." the 60-year-old explained. "You would actually... And I'm such a fan of all that. It's my go-to when I feel rubbish, but you would bring Ron back. You wouldn't actually be opposed to finding out what he's doing now?"

To which Rupert replied: "If the timing was right and everyone was coming back, I'd definitely revisit it. The character was important to me. I grew up with him and we became the same person and I feel quite protective of him as well."

Wrapping up the chat shortly afterwards, Phillip said: "Listen guys, it's lovely to see you. Thank you for coming on," before promoting the film's release date. "Holly will be straight at the front of the queue," Phillip quipped. "I'll be there... under a pillow," Holly replied.

And while Phillip was referring to the fact that Holly isn't a fan of those types of films after he made her jump earlier in the show, This Morning viewers couldn't help but refer back to the pair's queue scandal which rocked them both last September following the death of the Queen.

Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, people complained and launched a petition to have Holly and Phillip removed from the show after the duo were accused of 'pushing in' to see Her Majesty lying in state. But ITV bosses were quick to deny those reports and said they were actually working at the time.

Phillip and Holly were seen inside Westminster Hall, where Queen Elizabeth II's coffin was placed for four days before her state funeral, with hundreds of thousands of people queuing for miles across London in order to pay their final respects. This Morning quickly hit back at the claims that their presenters skipped the queue, which at its peak reached a 14-hour wait for those wanting to pay their final respects to the monarch following her death on September 8, aged 96.

During their first day back on This Morning following their appearance in Westminster Hall, Holly addressed the outrage in a video documenting the events of the last couple of weeks, from finding out the Queen had died up until the Queen's funeral.

During the VT, the mum-of-three could be heard saying in a voiceover as footage showed them outside Westminster Hall: "Like hundreds of accredited broadcasters and journalists, we were given official permission to access the hall. It was strictly for the purpose of reporting on the event for millions of people in the UK who haven't been able to visit Westminster in person.

"The rules were that we would be quickly escorted around the edges to a platform at the back. In contrast, those paying respects walked along a carpeted area beside the coffin and were given time to pause." She continued: "None of the broadcasters and journalists there took anyone's place in the queue and no one filed passed the Queen. We, of course, respected those rules, however, we realise that it may have looked like something else and therefore totally understand the reaction."

Taking to Twitter following Phillip's remark, @mostlystupid said: "You just know 1,000,000% Holly will be tearing a strip off Phil during the break for that queue comment #ThisMorning." @DavidMackayy wrote: "Holly looks annoyed #ThisMorning."

@GarryVaux commented: "Brave of Phillip to say 'Holly will be right at the front of the queue' #thismorning." @Borisnose2 added: "Holly will be straight at the front of the queue phil? Of course! Dropped a right clanger there #thismorning."
