ITV This Morning viewers say something is 'amiss' as they share Holly Willoughby concern

This Morning viewers have shared their concern as Holly Willoughby returned to the programme. The presenter was finally reunited with Phillip Schofield after not hosting the ITV daytime show together for a month.

Phillip, 61, took an unexpected week off at the start of the month which later turned out to be during his brother's trial. It left Holly solo with both Alison Hammond and Joel Dommett stepping in to host alongside her before both she and Phillip enjoyed their usual Easter break.

But while Phillip returned last Monday (April 17) as planned, Holly, 42, was nowhere to be seen and was replaced by Rochelle Humes. Unfortunately, Holly's planned return was his by a setback when she fell ill with shingles.

Now though, after a week of rest and recuperation, the mum-of-three was back where she belongs. "Yeah I'm much better," she said when asked by Phillip if she was ok after she shared her delight at being back with her co-star and viewers.

"I had a wobbly week and a half. For anyone who's had shingles, it's not nice." Phillip then qupped: "All mended," as Holly agreed: "All mended and back. Lovely to see you."

But as the busy episode unfpolded, the first of the week, This Morning viewers flocked to social media as they claimed something was 'amiss'. @Borisnose2 tweeted: "Is it just me, or does Holly look incredibly awkward? #thismorning."

@TVprattle wrote: "No hugging? Something is amiss with Holly and Phil. #thismorning." @Zhanedeex added: "Holly looks so uncomfortable hosting today #thismorning."

Others, however, didn't seem to think so and were happy to see her back. @Charlie__Tweets wrote: "Yay! @hollywills is back. Welcome back Holly, good to see you are feeling better. #ThisMorning." @Landrauhl posted: "Love seeing phil and holly back together #ThisMorning."

Holly also took to Instagram before the show as she kept up with the tradition of showing her millions of followers her outfit for the episode ahead before appearing on screen. "Morning Monday… aww I’ve missed you!!!!!" she typed alongside the post.

"See you on the @thismorning sofa at 10am… we have the co-author of The Rules on the show today! #hwstyle." And Holly looked perfect for the brighter weather as she slipped into a floral green frill midi dress from Ro&Zo.

She paired the pretty dress, which boasted ruched sleeves, with a pair of nude heels and kept her short bright blonde locks down in a soft wave. And her fellow celebs and fans were soon sharing their delight at her being back as well as flooding her with compliments.

This Morning chef Clodagh McKenna said: "Yay!! Back lighting up all our lives again." Good Morning Britain's Susanna Reid replied: "Welcome back Holly."

@jliddell58 commented: "Welcome back beautiful. Looking forward to you and Philip back where you both belong. Have a great show." @alisondunlop2013 wrote: "Happy that you’re back Holly !
