There wasn't "a wrinkle in sight" according to viewers of ITV's This Morning, on Tuesday, May 23. Music legend Barry Manilow appeared on the morning show via video link from Palm Springs, but it was host Alison Hammond's question to him that really got fans talking.
The star chatted to the glamourous TV host live on the programme. Hammond was holding the fort in the studio while Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield dashed back from presenting an hour of show from Buckingham Palace.
After introducing him on to the show, Barry said: "Good morning Alison. Good to meet you and good to see you. The host added: “It’s so good to see you. I think the last time we met was in Vegas all those years ago. You sung to me with the piano, it was absolutely amazing. It’s so good to see you."

But before getting stuck into a chat about her career or current projects, the 47-year-old, who usually presents This Morning on a Friday with Dermot O'Leary, she couldn't help but mention Barry's ageless appearance, reported Manchester Evening News. She said: "I’ve got to say, firstly, you look incredible."
Alison then asked: "What is the secret? You are not telling what the secret is." Brushing off Alison's compliment, Barry replied with a laugh: "It's luck, it’s just blind luck." He then added: "I’m really very old, please let’s not talk about it. It’s really depressing."
The presenter then giggled: and replied: "You look gorgeous honestly!" And she wasn't the only one fascinated by his appearance as This Morning viewers made their comments on social media.
One said: "#ThisMorning for a man of his age, not a wrinkle in sight!! It’s astonishing." Another joined in: "Can't believe @AlisonHammond managed to keep a straight face while she asked Barry Manilow how he kept looking so young!! #ThisMorning."
The tweets continued: "He’s unrecognisable #ThisMorning". Another wrote: "#ThisMorning Barry Manilow looking as amazing as ever." With someone else adding: "You look fabulous Barry. C'mon tell us what's the secret. Oh Alison please. Could you be any more sycophantic #ThisMorning."
