Gyles Brandreth is a regular face on This Morning but more often than not, viewers find themselves looking at his latest attire. The former politician turned broadcaster and writer was back on the ITV daytime show on Monday (July 11).

He joined hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary as they kickstarted the summer with the first day of their two-week stint hosting the show before several more famous faces take over the reins.

Gyles joined the hosts for the latest edition of 'This Morning's View' alongside LBC's Nick Ferrari. The segment sees the four-piece discuss the latest news headlines which today included a discussion on the Tory leadership contest following Boris Johnson's resignation last week.
