It seems like the insults were flying on ITV's This Morning show on Monday, August 23. One guest even took the banter into the break.
Ruth Langsford returned to the popular morning show settling in next to fellow host Rylan Clark. Wearing a bright pink trouser suit teamed with light pink vest, the 62-year old announced "I've gone a bit Barbie today".
In the line up of guests on Monday morning was Alice Beer. The TV presenter and consumer journalist is known from her segments during the 90s on TV programme Watchdog and Alice has since been recognised as the consumer expert on This Morning.

When the programme came back from the break, the Mirror noted that the 62-year-old Ruth accused Alice Beer of "insulting" her. She announced: "Alice Beer just said I look like a Percy Pig!" As Rylan and Alice burst out laughing, Ruth continued: "Well I don't need to come here to be insulted..."
Alice quickly tried to redeem herself and said: "One of my very favourite things in the whole world may I say!" Referring to the popular M&S sweet treat.
"What a claw back!" Rylan commented as Ruth added: "Well saved!"
Rylan then informed the viewers of what was coming up next and said: "While these two have it out, welcome back..." Ruth then made a dig and announced: "First though, the reason Alice is here - apart from insulting me - the new school year is just around the corner..."
