ITV This Morning's Rochelle Humes in tears over show's gesture to terminally ill guest who was arrested for 'mooning'

Rochelle Humes was left in tears during the latest installment of This Morning after the show surprised a terminally ill guest. The presenter and co-host Andi Peters were joined on the sofa on Thursday (August 18) by Darrell Meekcom.

The 55-year-old hit the headlines after he was detained in his back garden, in Kidderminster, by several officers from West Mercia Police after mooning a speed camera as part of his bucket list, in November 2021. His wife Sarah, who joined him on the programme, was the one who suggested he plan a bucket list of things he wanted to do before he died.

Darrell, a dad-of-two who has multiple system atrophy (MSA), was originally arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure and dangerous driving. His wife filmed Darrell telling officers as they arrested him: "Have you never wanted to moonie a speed camera? Well, I did."
