ITV This Morning's Rochelle Humes gets apology from Idris Elba for comment about husband Marvin

Idris Elba was quick to apologise to Rochelle Humes on Friday during his appearance on This Morning.

The Hollywood star joined Rochelle and her co-host Vernon Kay in the ITV studio to chat about his new movies as well as his new skincare line.

Father-of-two Vernon was keen to remind viewers that as well as being an actor, Idris is also a DJ and asked him when his next gig will be.

Idris replied: "The next gig's Ibiza man, I'm gonna be in Ibiza doing the closing."

"Nice," Vernon said, before joking: "We're on our way!" as Idris said: "No no, please come, please."

Rochelle then butted in and said: "We could have done this there!"

"I've DJ'd with Martin before, your husband," Idris then said as Rochelle corrected him and replied: "Yeah Marv, you have, that's right."

"Oh Martin, it's Marvin!" Idris quickly responded as Rochelle said: "Call him Martin, I prefer that! I Iove that, I'm telling him, 'you just got called Martin!'"

Turning to the camera Idris then said: "No, no sorry Marv please!"

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV and ITV Hub.
