ITV This Morning's Rochelle Humes cries over note from daughter after feeling 'mum guilt'

Rochelle Humes was left having a cry after she returned home to a note from her daughter. The presenter has had a busy time hosting This Morning in recent weeks with Vernon Kay, Craig Doyle and this week with Andi Peters.

On Monday, viewers of the ITV daytime show were treated to the latest hosting duo to take over the reins over the summer in the absence of Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby. Rochelle, 33, and Andi, 52, kickstarted their week at the helm together after first presenting as a team back in September.

But it's not just This Morning Rochelle has been busy with. The former Saturdays star spent much of last week in Manchester as she joined Ben Shephard and Chris Kamara for the filming of ITV's Ninja Warrior. She cut her This Morning stint with Vernon Kay short as she had to head up north for the challenge show which is set to return to screens at some point this year.

And Rochelle's busyness of late has left her experiencing 'mum guilt'. The singer and presenter shares daughters Alai-Mai, nine, and Valentina Raine, five, and one-year-old son Blake with her JLS star and Capital FM DJ husband Marvin Humes. But the mum-of-three needn't have worried.

She took to Instagram on Monday evening (August 15), to share a note Alai had written for her after finishing her day at This Morning. The youngster had panned "Super Women" on one half of a piece of paper before writing her mum a note. "Dear my super woman, I love you sooo much," it started.

"You work so hard to make sure we have everything we own. We all love you so much. I am so lucky I have a mum like u! Love you lots from Alaia."

Sharing the image of the message to her millions of Instagram followers, Rochelle said: "I’ve been working a lot over the past few weeks since the kids have been off of school which I really try not to do, I had a bit of secret Mum guilt…just got in from work to this." She then added: "My heart is SO full…okay I’m off to go cry now…"

And her celebrity pals and followers were soon leaving their supportive messages as they cooed over the sweet note. Fellow This Morning star and BBC Radio 2 broadcaster Vanessa Feltz wrote: "That child is delightful just like her mummy." Singer and songwriter Jessica Agombar commented: "She’s so thoughtful."

@christine.nye.140 shared: "Omg this is just so adorable xx just goes to show , what a fabulous job you are doing." @lizhambridge echoed: "What a lovely girl! You’re both clearly doing a fab job as parents!" @comeundone75 said: "Frame this. It’s just adorable and inspiring."

@karen_clarke1 penned: "Remember you are a great role model. Be kind to yourself." @michellefobs shared: "Working during school holidays is tough when you’re a busy working mum. You are giving them more than everything you and they own. You are sharing important life lessons. A is so like you - kind, caring, thoughtful and very grateful. #howtobringupchildren."

Rochelle and Marvin's adorable children recently witnessed their mum and dad celebrate their 10 years of marriage by doing it all over again. The loved-up couple pulled out all the stops as they renewed their wedding vows last month in a stunning location in Lake Como, Italy.

Announcing the news on Instagram, Marvin shared a picture of his wife’s hand resting on his, with their wedding rings in clear view. Alongside the image, the singer and presenter who found fame on ITV singing competition The X Factor, wrote: “Yes we did it all again!!! Ten down forever to go." Rochelle posted the same image with the caption: “Oops we did it again.. Ten down forever to go…” with a variety of emojis.
