Holly Willoughby has been flooded with plenty of compliments after she marked the return of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here. The 2022 edition of the ITV reality show kicked off on Sunday night (November 6) with ten new campmates heading into the jungle.
The programme, fronted by Ant and Dec, made a grand return with more than nine million people tuning in to the launch. It appears viewers were keen to see the likes of former Love Island star Olivia Attwood, radio DJ Chris Moyles, Loose Women's Charlene White, singer Boy George, ex-rugby star Mike Tindall, and Coronation Street legend Sue Cleaver meet for the first time and face their first challenges before officially heading into the main camp.
And Holly may have been one of them. She took to Instagram just before the series launch and reminisced about her own stint Down Under. While the presenter is known for hosting This Morning, in 2018, she took a break from the ITV daytime show to host I'm a Celeb in Australia.
She stepped in to host alongside Dec after Ant took a step back from his work commitments. Sharing a reel of clips from her time in Australia, the 41-year-old typed: "Who’s ready for @imacelebrity tonight!!!… Bringing back all the memories #imaceleb."
She then added: "@antanddec … Good luck tonight boys." Holly's former co-host from her children's TV days Jake Humphrey was among the first to respond to the post, writing in the comments: " You were SO good on that Bizzzle."
And it seems fans agreed as they inundated the TV star with the same kind of compliment. @laproblems commented: "You were such a breath of fresh air on the show. You did an amazing job!" @sammibeautytherapy posted: "You were so good Holly!! I was glad it was you while Ant was off, I'm so happy it's back on!!"
@oscars_house_south_lakes said: "You were fabulous on I’m A Celebrity." @adriennedeegan wrote: "Loved that series wish u would do it again." @_sarahloux echoed: "Wish u we’re on it. It was very suited to you." @rowanbrims shared: "Ahhh loved you on here. So brilliant!" @elizajaynebeth added: "Omg, loved you co-presenting this, so refreshing. You were amazing Holly."
Following her stint in the jungle, Holly was inspired to launch her venture away from the small screen. Wylde Moon is a lifestyle website that explores topics from "beauty and fashion to energy and healing" but also features its own boutique where Holly has launched perfumes, as well as candles and a reed diffuser, and sparkling 12-piece jewellery collection alongside Kirstie Le Marque.
While Holly said at the time of the brand's launch that she’s 'always been fascinated with the moon, space, shooting stars and looking up', she became inspired by sound baths when she headed to Australia to host I’m A Celebrity.
"For the first time in a long time, I didn’t really know what to do with myself," she previously explained. "Australia is the land of alternative therapies, and the town that I was in truly had all kinds of things for all kinds of people. Through this wonderful kinesiologist called Josie, I really started to unlock pieces of myself and when I came back to England, I knew that I didn’t want to stop everything I’d learnt."
