Dermot O'Leary left a cheeky comment on Alison Hammond's latest Instagram post as the pair reunited on This Morning. The hosting duo were missing from their usual slot on Friday (July 8) leading to confusion among viewers.
In an unusual change to the show, Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, who only usually host the ITV daytime programme from Monday to Thursday, took the reins from Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary for their last show before their lengthy summer break.
Taking to social media to share their confusion at the changing line-up. @kouganray asked: "It's Friday, why are phil and holly on today?", as @EnfieldGarry wrote: "Phil and Holly on a Friday, what?"

Some gutted viewers then tweeted: "Where’s Alison and Dermot?! They bring the Friday mood," as @LuMarie44 said: "Where’s Dermot & Alison?? Very disappointed," and a third penned: "It is Friday? What are these two on for?" But they need not worry as the pair are back!
Taking to Instagram on Sunday (July 10), Alison posted a picture of the pair in the ITV studio from a previous day on hosting duties. While Alison, 47, looked glam as she smiled for the camera, her 49-year-old co-host appeared to be puckering up as he pouted his lips towards his co-star.
"See you tomorrow at 10 am @thismorning," the mum-of-one captioned the snap. But Dermot was quick to respond: "Not those two idiots?" While we are sure he is joking, fans were looking forward to seeing them back together.

Friday favourites Alison and Dermot are kicking off summer This Morning in style by hosting the first two weeks from July 11th. Then, continuing to keep the summer sofa sizzling throughout the coming weeks will be a mix of on-screen partnerships.
The various duos will be made up of Josie Gibson, Vernon Kay, Rochelle Humes, Craig Doyle, Mollie King, and Andi Peters while Ruth Langsford will return to the show for the first time since last year for a week of episodes alongside Rylan Clark.
