ITV This Morning's Alison Hammond delighted as Holly and Phillip make unexpected announcement

TV presenter Alison Hammond was delighted after colleagues Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby shared some unexpected news about her during their latest This Morning appearance. The hosts were back fronting the ITV daytime show on Wednesday, May 18, when they announced Alison had 'broken America.'

As reported by MEN, the TV personality, who hosts the show every Friday with Dermot O'Leary, has become a big hit with fans through her star appearances on the ITV show. However, Alison is probably best loved for her celebrity interviews, sharing many memorable moments with some of Hollywood's biggest stars over the years.

And now, clips of her showbiz encounters and her infectious laughter have caught the attention of those across the Atlantic and have been featured on a primetime American show. Starting the show yesterday, Holly, 41, said: "We have big news about our very own Alison Hammond...she has broken America!"
