Deidre Sanders came under fire from viewers during her latest appearance on This Morning. The agony aunt, who is a regular on the ITV daytime programme, joined hosts Rochelle Humes and Vernon Kay on Wednesday's show (August 31) for the latest phone-in.
They were on hand to take calls from viewers with Deidre able to offer her help and advice. During the segment, the 77-year-old heard from one caller, named Mandy, who wanted to talk about her grandson who she claims is "really badly behaved".
She revealed how the three-year-old had broken TVs, glass panes in the conservatory and his tech tablets, and was soon asked by Deidre if she help had already been sought for the youngster. However, Mandy claimed that the "doctors don’t want to know until he’s six”.

Deidre said it was "appalling" that nothing was being done to help the family but reassured them that it isn't an issue with the parenting of the young boy after discovering his unruly behaviour also continues while at pre-school. She suggested that the caller’s grandson may have ADHD and that he might be on the "autism spectrum".
However, after giving Mandy advice, she made a comment which didn't go down too well with viewers. "I mean, I presume you’re not particularly a well off family, but even if you pay for one or two sessions with a child therapist – it’s very important," Deidre said.
@Christopher_T42 tweeted: "'I assume you're not a well off family' - how patronising Deidre, estuary English doesn't mean you're automatically a burden on the public purse #ThisMorning." @DavidMackayy fumed: "Deidre saying 'I don’t think you’re the most well off family' how the f**k does she know that? Cheek!!! #ThisMorning."
@Itt39354118 echoed: "How does she know they are'nt well off cheek #thismorning." @deanobeanos commented: "That's cheeky to say that I don't think you are a particularly well off family how does she know that #thismorning."
