Alison Hammond has been flooded with compliments as she 'glowed' her way onto This Morning. The presenter was back fronting the ITV daytime show on Friday (October 7) alongside Dermot O'Leary. But it wasn't the first time Alison had been on the programme this week.
The 47-year-old appeared as a guest on the popular show on Wednesday alongside Kate Garraway. The pair chatted to Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby about their episode of DNA Journey, which aired on ITV on Thursday night, as they joined forces to discover details they new knew about their family history.
But today, Alison was back in charge with Dermot O'Leary for the last show of the week and the mum-of-one was dazzling viewers. She appeared in a classic black top and pair of jeans which she jazzed up with a black and white patterned cover-up. Her glossy dark locks had been styled into a straight blunt bob and she added a bit of pink blush and a glossy lip to complete her look.
And fans were quick to compliment her. @missimogen_s tweeted: "Omg do you see Alison. She looks Stunning. A beautiful hair cut and love the jacket. She looks like she is glowing." @PollyCracker92 said: "Alison really has had a glow up in the last 12 months and she looks so INCREDIBLE #ThisMorning."
During the first part of the show, Alison and Dermot were joined live in the studio by Gyles Brandreth and Carol Vorderman to discuss the latest news headlines in 'This Morning's View'. But viewers were a bit baffled by Alison when she shared how didn't notice £10,000 going missing from her bank account.
"So I got my car serviced and I paid for the service and didn’t notice till they phoned me that they charged me £10,000 for the service," she said. "I hadn’t checked my bank."
"£10,000?!’ a stunned Carol repeated before Alison went on to explain: "They charged me £10,000 they noticed a month later and phoned me up and said, 'We’ve overcharged you. It was £1,000 and we’ve charged you £10,000.'" She then added: "And I didn’t even notice. But that’s nice that they phoned me back."
But the revelation stunned viewers with some slamming the host for sounding 'out of touch'. @TashAmaka said: "How rich are you Alison that you didn’t notice £10,000 missing from your account #ThisMorning." @TraylorHolmes asked: "Alison was charged £10,000 service and didn’t notice?! #ThisMorning," before adding: "Another clarification of how out of touch this show and its presenters are: Alison not noticing that she’d been charged £10,000 for service #ThisMorning."
@geordiegalg commented: "Didn't notice £10,000 had gone from her bank account?! First world problems eh? #ThisMorning." @lindaperkins121 posted: "#ThisMorning How would you not know 10,000 gone out of your account unbelievable, Alison dropped herself straight in it there!!"
