ITV This Morning fans confused as they point out major fashion segment error

This Morning viewers were quick to point out a huge error during the show's latest fashion segment. Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were back hosting the show on Thursday (March 31), their last sting on the programme of the week.

Among the line-up on today's show was Lisa Snowdon who was back alongside the This Morning catwalk to bring viewers some fresh looks that will help them 'feel fab over 50' - if they are over 50, of course.

Kickstarting the segment, Lisa said: "It's all about confidence. I've just turned 50..." to which Holly chimed: "Happy Birthday," before their fashion guest continued: "I personally feel like I'm just getting started. I mean, obviously, there's been a few bumps in the road due to the menopause but fashion-wise and style-wise, i think we need to embrace our age."

She went on: "We need to rip up the rule book of what we thought was 'age appropriate' which, by the way, annoys me that whole phrase," to which Holly, 41, commented: "I agree!"

Then Lisa said: "I also wanted to say that today, nothing I am showing you is over £60 so it is not going to break the bank either. We've got some great prices and great pieces to show you."

However, as Lisa started rattling through some of the looks - from figure-flattering denim to fab frocks - This Morning viewers were hitting social media as they noticed there was confusion with what Lisa said.

"Lisa said the outfits weren’t more than £60. Why they hell did she mean each item? #ThisMorning," @CD13092 tweeted alongside a photo of her TV screen. It showed the price tag to the various items then on displace which were all under £60, however, the overall prices came to much more as another viewer pointed out.

@leeleeCThomas said: "First outfit - £168.99 (£77) Second outfit - £117.50 (£64.50) Third outfit - £86.39 (£49.50) Fourth outfit - £89.99 (£55) Fifth outfit - £103.70 (£66.70) Total - £566.57 (£312.70) It was bit misleading to say they were all under £60, it only applies to 3 & 4 #ThisMorning."

"Under £60.00?? More BS #ThisMorning," @JoLondon0 fumed.

Viewers were quick to comment on the prices (ITV)

While @selz_j commented: "Clothes for under £60 if you've got anything left after paying your extortionate energy bills #ThisMorning."

It is not the first time the price of items featured on This Morning has come under fire. Earlier this month Sarah Jossel joined Phillip and Josie Gibson in the studio with her gift guide that featured everything from unusual flowers to amazing food, makeup and a tipple for Mother's Day.

As Sarah whizzed through some of the different gifts, This Morning viewers took to social media to complain over some of the prices of the products used which included and £80 Bobbi Brown makeup gift set and a £56 matte lipstick.
