This Morning has officially confirmed that Ruth Langsford will return as host of the programme in a matter of weeks. While the presenter has still been a regular face on Loose Women, she hasn't hosted the ITV daytime show since last year when her husband Eamonn Holmes exited.
The news comes after Eamonn reignited his feud with his former employers while picking up an award - his first since he left This Morning. The veteran broadcaster picked up the news presenter of the year gong after attending the bash in London with his wife and GB News co-host Isabel Webster.
Eamonn had hosted the popular ITV show for 15 years alongside Ruth but couldn't hide his dismay over his former employer. However, at the time of his exit at the end of last year, the broadcaster confirmed Ruth would still be part of the family. She is now set to return to This Morning this summer where she'll host the show alongside Rylan Clark.

It'll be the first time the pair have been on-screen together for quite a while after BBC Radio 2 star Rylan also stopped presenting on the show. It is also part of a wider shake-up to the presenting line-up while Holly Willougby and Phillip Schofield take their extended summer break.
Friday favourites Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary will, of course, be back and will kick off the summer in style by hosting the first two weeks from July 11th, and continuing to keep the summer sofa sizzling throughout the coming weeks will be a mix of on-screen partnerships.

Rochelle Humes will also be put back in the hot seat but will be joined by Good Morning Britain and Lorrain regular Andi Peters. Josie will later return with Bolton's very own Vernon Kay who made his hosting debut on This Morning in December.
Rochelle and Craig will then join forces before her former The Saturday's pal Mollie King takes her spot alonfside Craig. Ruth and Rylan will the eventually make their comeback, before Rochelle and Vernon finally take the reins to end the summer before Holly and Phil's return.
The summer guest hosts will front the live two-and-a-half hour show from White City’s Television Centre until September 2 before Phillip and Holly return on the 5th.
This Morning’s editor, Martin Frizell, said: "I’m delighted that This Morning will continue to air throughout the summer weeks with such a varied and talented mix of hosts that I know viewers adore. Each partnership will bring something new and exciting to entertain viewers each morning across the nation no matter what the weather will be like outside this summer!"
