As the summer draws to a close it can only mean the return of Saturday night's biggest shows. And it all kicked off last night (September 3) with the return of The Masked Dancer followed by The Voice UK on ITV.
Olly Murs, Ann-Marie, Tom Jones, and Will.i.Am, were all back in their spinning red chairs as the blind auditions got underway with Emma Willis back as host. But first, the show kicked off with the four superstar musicians taking to the stage for a joint performance of Whitney Houston classic Higher Love.
The competition then soon got underway and as ever, the four coaches have 10 spaces to fill in their team with the hope of being crowned The Voice UK champion and the winner landing a recording contract.
And there was also the return of the block button. Each coach has the ability to make the move to block one of their fellow stars if they think they'll be in a battle to get the auditioning singer on their team. But they can only use it once.

And it was poor singing legend Tom who suffered first as Olly Murs pipped him to the post and stopped him from pitching for soulful singer David Adeogun, a student from London, who earned praise from the coaches with her performance of JP Cooper's In The Silence.
But Tom soon got his payback as the first duo of the series took to the stage. Couple Thomas, 25 and Emilie, 30 from South Wales beautifully belted out Les Misérables classic Bring Him Home. The pair's performance got spins from all four coaches - but Tom blocked Olly and it may have paid off as Thomas and Emilie decided to join Team Tom.
Viewers were soon getting into the series at home, agreeing and disagreeing with the judges. One performer who had the backing of those watching but not the coaches was auditionee Charlotte Riby who got Anne-Marie, Olly, and the studio audience on their feet with a renditon of Jocelyn Brown's disco-filler Somebody Else's Guy.
But sadly, Charlotte didn't get a turn from the coaches and viewers flocked to social media to complain. @ClaypoleDawnie tweeted: "#TheVoiceUK come on guys you missed a great lady there with Charlotte Riby." @RyanHTAFC8 shared: "Wowwwwww incredible vocals by Charlotte! She really has an amazing range and fantastic song too. Someone should of pushed there button!!! #TheVoiceUK."
However, that wasn't the only thing that left The Voice UK viewers unimpressed, and it happened within minutes of the show starting. @Becky_5287 tweeted: "Can’t cope with all the ads #TheVoiceUK." @SteveB2Notts complained: "This show has become a bunch of ads and backstories peppered with a few tunes. #TheVoiceUK."
@boozybluesy commented: "#TheVoice Too many ads already." @yourschloex fumed: "Did they really just go from the heart wrenching moment of hearing Sir Tom sing and talking about his late wife to seeing an actress dressed as a pea next to the go compare man? Way to break the moment with an advert #TheVoiceUK."
