The impressive cast, lead by Aidan, includes Fleabag's Sian Clifford and TV and stage actor Shaun Parkes. The Suspect will begin on ITV on Monday, August 29 at 9pm and the drama is based London. Here is everything you need to know about the filming locations.
Where was The Suspect filmed?
The series itself is mostly based in London, with Dr Joe working in a London hospital and the body of a young woman found in a West London. The Suspect was filmed across London and locations include the Coal Drops Yard in King's Cross, Paddington Basin and buildings near The Shard and London Bridge.
The hospital scenes were filmed at the City of Westminster College in Paddington. A lot of the aerial drone shots were taken around London Bridge.
Adam James, who will play Dr Jack in the drama, explained how London as a location was used a character in the series. He said: “James (the director) wanted to make London a very distinct backdrop to this story. To try and show London in ways we’ve maybe not seen before. Very beautiful but very urban. The scale of it feels very epic.
"There are lots of aerial shots of trains and railway tracks snaking in and out of this metropolis. They also serve as beautiful visual metaphors. London is very definitely a character in itself in this drama. I think it will be very evocative for the watching audience.”
